The choice of Yamna’s name is neither trivial nor random; Yamna means “blessed” in Arabic and is a name that denotes a simple, humble, peaceful woman with an attractive, helpful and charitable personality.
It is in this spirit that Yamna Design has chosen to promote Moroccan craftsmanship, which has always stood out for its elegance and friendliness. Over time, it has evolved and adapted, making it intemporal and timeless.

For most of us, craftsmanship evokes ancient, handmade products, but are we aware of the scope of this word?
For the craftsmen, Craft rhymes with art of living, know-how, knowledge to be which it is necessary to safeguard and to bequeath with future generations. By acquiring a handcrafted product, it is not a practical and beautiful product that we bought, but it is a human story that we appropriated, the story of a passionate craftsman to the ancestral know-how that toils body and soul to the task during days even weeks to make us beautiful authentic articles that give uniqueness to our interiors.
The Craft is a story of families guardians of a part of our heritage, which ensure by these hard times where the kit charms more and more people to safeguard a thousand-year-old and ancestral know-how. So promoting Moroccan handicrafts is first and foremost a civic act, because privileging it is also privileging the local economy by promoting job creation and by perpetuating rare skills while respecting the environment.
