A contemporary carpet hand-weaved in Morocco using traditional methods. Using the highest quality wool, each strand was carefully and densely hand woven on a loom and took 6 weeks to weave. Incredibly soft and thick underfoot, the natural shade is woven with a subtle geometric relief – the finish of this piece is both luxurious and durable and is a functional work of art that will last for a long time.
Known for its use of brighter colors, the Beni M’Rirt tribe is native to the Middle Atlas Mountains in Morocco. We work to preserve the remarkable skills of women weavers by sourcing both vintage and contemporary pieces that continue to perpetuate the methods and techniques from generation to generation.
